Optics are those necessary evils in the outdoor world. So essential, but yet they get glanced over very easily. I was able to check out the Ares 8x42 binos and was instantly impressed. I am switching my optics to Athlon.

I am extremely pleased with my 8x42 Ares. I'm just a regular user and don't have any optical expertise. But have a few Athlon rifle scopes and know the brand is solid. I paid well below the $469 price more than half less. At that price i practically stole them. Athlons lifetime warranty and deep lineup show confidence in their products. All my future optic purchases will be Athlons.
