These Cronus bins are amazing. They are very sharp even to the edge and capture a lot of light and so are good in the early morning and later in the evening. The eye relief is 19.5mm and THAT is the best thing for this eye glass wearer. In the past I had to take my glasses off to see decently, but with these Cronus, I see very well with my glasses on and that was my goal.

For the money the glass in these binoculars is amazing. Clear edge to edge with great color rendition. The low light performance is good. I am able to see things at 3-400 yards about 15 minutes before I can see them with my eyes. I have not got a chance to test them in the field, just back yard. Athlon definitely spent all the money on the optic as the case and neck strap is cheap. The binoculars are well made and have a great warranty. I gave them 4 stars because I know there are better out there but you’ll pay at least twice as much for them. I use these for bird watching and will be using on elk scouting/ hunting trips.
