This Midas BTR GEN2 1-6×24 is equipped with ATSR4 reticle that is specifically designed for 3 gun competition. With hold over points for both bullet drop and wind compensation, the ATSR4 reticle is designed for 68 and 69 grain BTHP 223 Rem/5.56mm NATO rounds. It is also suitable for many other bullet weights in these calibers. The low profile capped turrets will ensure you stay zeroed. The 1.4 moa center red dot is perfect for zeroing your rifle at 200 yards. You can use the dots below the center red dot for targets at 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards. The unique design of the small size dots eliminate target obstruction on 12~18 inch targets beyond 200 yards and allow the shooter to take a quick shot. The dots on the left and right off the center line are the hold over points for 5 mph and 10 mph wind.

I have reviewed this scope on my youtube channel www.youtube.com/c/NYPrepper. Here is my review: https://youtu.be/MWcwfjUKAy8 and here is me shooting this scope with the massively powerful 416 Ruger: https://youtu.be/XKBonTtwPIo
I have this scope mounted onto my Ruger Guide Gun chambered in 416 Ruger a massively powerful cartridge for hunting big dangerous game like Elephant or Rhino which generate over 5000 foot pounds of muzzle energy which is double the energy of a 30-06. I am so impressed with the the quality and price of this scope. So far it has held up perfectly to the massive recoil of the 416 Ruger which generates nearly 70 foot pounds of free recoil out my 8 pound Ruger Guide Gun. This is over 3 times the recoil of a 30-06!! I have put probably 200 rounds through that gun so far and the scope has not shifted POI or any other malfunctions due to the extreme recoil. I have also taken it on multiple black bear hunts in the thick Northern woods of Upstate New York and it has perform perfectly. The reason I chose this scope over others is because of Athlon's warranty, I was concerned with the extreme recoil other brand scope would not hold up and would break. With Athlon's warranty I knew I could easily get it replaced if something happened as they have a lifetime warranty. Also what I really liked about the BTR Gen 2 was that other companies with LPVO's in the 1-6 power range didn't have a good exit pupil which is important for fast target acquisition while dangerous game hunting. Also the other brands offerings did not have good reticles, they were all 5.56 BDC reticles which are useless for my 416 Ruger. I needed something that was magnified and had a simple MOA hash marked reticle in a low power range and I found it. I usually keep it on 2 power which is good for up to 50 yard shots, if I am shooting 100 yards or further then I crank up to 6 power.
