Got the athlon neos 6x18x44 mounted and zeroed on the coyote gun. Really nice piece of glass

Bought a Neos 6-18x44 rifle scope just to give Athlon a shot here. Super impressed, glass is clear and sharp adjustments are simple and easy but still feel solid. I mounted it on my ruger American .308 (not pictured) and had it sighted in after just a few rounds... Less than 10. So far it's held zero after 80 rounds ran through it today and the bdc reticle was spot on. To me that is shocking for a Newer company that isn't US made.I'm very impressed with Athlons most budget optic.

Well, I have to say I am shocked at what I paid for this scope. For $159, I honestly wasn't expecting much. What I received was WAY beyond my expectations. There has been some quiet buzz about this company and their products...nearly all of it positive. I thought I would try one of their lower end scopes to test the waters. I'll first note really the only thing that leaves a little to be desired, optical clarity. It's a 6 or 7 out of 10 (if a one is a Tasco and a ten is a high end Zeiss). I assume that it improves as you go up the line. Still VERY manageable for a hunting scope that I plan to use out to maybe 300 or 400 yards. I found it to be comparable to the Crossfire series in the Vortex line. It was also about $30 bucks cheaper than the Crossfire. That alone makes it worth it, throw in the illuminated BDC reticle...and it's a home run. The warranty is also impressive and adds a level of reassurance to the purchase. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this scope again...as a matter of fact...I have one of the higher end models sitting in my cart right now that I plan to purchase shortly.

I just put this on my 1953 760 in '06. A little much for this rifle, but I would rather be over glassed a bit. Scope looks great, feels great, glass seem clear from what I can tell in basement. My only complaint is the mag dial and side dial are very, very hard to turn. Like super stiff. Hoping they loosen up with time. As soon as I am off COVID restriction, I will see how well it works.

This is my second Athlon scope . Only downside is the magnification adjustment in both scopes is still difficult to adjust. Must have a throw lever !! But ,, the throw lever does get in the way of the bolt handle ,, small but significant detail. This is the only reason for 4 not 5 stars
